Contract For Transport

*This is a copy of  the contract you will be asked to sign at time of pick up*

*Please look over this contract caefully before you agree to these terms and agree to have* your horse shipped with Double B Equine Transport, L.L.C.

Double B Equine Transport, L.L.C. agrees to transport the horse(s) to address listed below, if within our scope of lawful operation. The horse(s) described below is/are in apparent good condition(except as otherwise noted). It is mutually agreed, that even the most well trained and traveled horses can be unpredictable. Both parties agree that Double B Equine Transport, L.L.C. will not be held liable for any sickness, disease,theft,death or injury that may occur while in our custody.  Both parties also agree that Double B Equine Transport, L.L.C.  will not be held liable for any claim resulting from damage or injury caused by said horse(s), shipper or his/her guest and invitees, to anyone, including but not limited to, legal fees and or expenses incurred by carrier in defense of such claims.

Shipper agrees to give care custody and control of below said horse(s) while in transit. If any emergency should arise while in transit, we will take all vital signs and contact shipper immediately. Shipper gives Double B Equine Transport, L.L.C. permission to treat below said horse(s) under shippers veterinary advisement. A charge of $10 per medication will be charged to shipper, payable upon delivery of below said horse(s). Furthermore, Double B Equine Transport, L.L.C. will not be held liable for any reactions due to medications given under veterinary advisement. By initialing shipper agrees to these terms__________.

Double B Equine Transport, L.L.C.  always uses the best and safest routes; sometimes this takes us on toll roads. We try to avoid these roads, but sometimes it is unavoidable. Any tolls that are accrued will be charged to shipper and shipper will be notified before horse is shipped.

At Double B Equine Transport, L.L.C.  we take pride in being punctual for our pick up and deliveries. If we arrive at the pick up destination and no one is there 30 min after arrival, shipper will be charged a $40 per hour charge for wait time. The same rule applies for the delivery location as well.  Double B Equine Transport, L.L.C. will not pick up or deliver any horse(s) if no one is present at the time of loading or unloading, for safety and insurance reasons. Horse(s) will not be unloaded until payment in full has been received.
